Anniversary Letter

Year: 2

Hello World,

Still married. All scientific research suggested I would live alone because word in the street says I'm an asshole. Yet my wife has shown interest in sticking around a while longer, which goes against Newton’s third law of motion.

2020, what a year. While the entire world has been cheering for the end of 2020, I will always look back at it as a highlight year. I’ve learned so much from it, it has taken but it has also given much. It’s a bitter-sweet feeling but at the end, we came up on top.

Business is booming. Unemployment has been at an all time high and I feel bad for all the people suffering, which is why I'm even more grateful that hasn't been the case for my wife and I. We've been lucky enough to be at the long end of the stick.

Damn you Rona. Even me going OCD Super Saiyan, I still caught it - thanks mom! (MEAN LOOK) It wasn't that bad really, my case case mild compare to millions of other people who ended up hospitalized. Needless to say, I'm so grateful to still be around.

Rockstar on the rise. Thanks to catching the Rona, I had a couple of weeks of isolation and boredom and I decided to pickup a guitar and started learning how to play it. So far so good. My wife isn't as thrilled as I am, probably because I told her I would quit my job and dedicate my life to becoming a rockstar. Watch out Slash, I'm coming for you!

We’re expecting! My wife felt the full raft of the China Virus - more commonly known as the “RONA” or “COVID-19”. She didn’t actually get the virus, but she sure did get the most common side effect, the good ol’ case of pregnancy. We’re expecting a (hopefully) healthy, baby girl and we couldn’t be happier.

Back to the point. This letter originally started as a letter to my wife, to tell her how happy she makes me and how fortunate I feel of sharing this this life with her. Unfortunately not only do I have OCD, I also have ADHD and now this letter is weird.

The summery. Chula, I love you. Thank you for always being by my side. I'm not much of a religious person but for lack of a better word, I feel blessed that we get to share this experiences together. I can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for our family.
